A vocation that began in the Cibao.
Born in the Cibao region of the Dominican Republic, Jhanes Calcaño Simé developed an early interest in science. At 16, he moved to Santo Domingo to begin his medical education.
He graduated Cum Laude in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. His career focuses on hair restoration and trichology, with training in Mexico, Spain and Costa Rica.
His education includes a Master’s in Trichology and Hair Micrografting at Universidad a Distancia de Madrid, Spain, and a Master’s in Hair Transplantation and Trichology at Universidad Federada San Judas Tadeo, Costa Rica. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude in International Relations from Universidad del Caribe and has undertaken studies in Law.
As medical director of Majestuoso Clinic, he personally assesses patients, establishes a diagnosis, designs the plan and leads the procedure, participating in its stages with his team. Preserving native hair and providing follow-up are part of the same approach.
In-person care is available in Santo Domingo and Santiago by appointment, with online assessment for patients abroad. His approach covers all hair textures and a hairline adapted to each face and the patient’s preferences.
